Kumanokawa Hot Spring on Fuji-cho Saga City is a small Hot-spring village located beside Kase river short distance downstream from Furuyu Hot spring. It is told that the hot spring was found by monk Ku-kai when we has traveling around the country and saw a water bird taking a bath here on 821. The water contains sodium carbonate, magnesium, emanation and others and categorized to simple thermal, radioactive spring. Especially, the content of radon is one of the highest in Kyushu. It is said that this is effective on rheumatism, gout and detoxification. If you drink it, it is said that it's effective on diabetes. The temperature of the water is from 24.5 to 38.7 degrees. It's tepid and you can take the bath for a long time. The texture of water is amazing and it might make your skin smooth.
