At the parking lot of the Hado Cape Beach, the last destination of the Karatsu Olle Course, there are small stalls lined up. Those stalls are run by the local women serving the turban shells grown in the rough sea of the Genkai Sea and grilled right in front of you. The taste gets sweeter as you chew them. You may also enjoy overnight-dried squid, abalone and oysters (Dec thru March).
