A storage house for sugar built in 1941 was renovated into the museum of Yokan (azuki bean jelly) in March, 1984, which was then registered as a national cultural property in 1997. On the 1st floor, you can enjoy tasting Yokan made with a traditional method and green tea and watching educational videos about the history and making process of Yokan jelly. The 2nd floor exhibits old manufacturing tools, ingredients, labels and other valuable items.
