Takeo City Library and History Museum were renovated and re-opened in 2013. One of the characteristics here is that a library and a bookstore were combined in one place. Not only can you rent books out of 240,000 books, but also you can purchase newly published books at the adjoined Tsutaya book store. It is a great place for bookworms. Takeo Kids' Library also opened on October 2017.
