This is a famous park set up by Motoshige Nabeshima who was the 1st lord of the Ogi Clan, and the 2nd lord Naoyoshi Nabeshima.
In spring, 3000 cherry blossom trees bloom all at once, and it is the only place in Saga that was chosen as "Japan's one of 100 best Sakura viewing spots" From the end of March to Early April, not only people from Saga Prefecture but also a lot of people from different prefectures come to see the cherry blossoms.
