This temple of Tendai Buddhism became known nationwide as “azalea temple.” 50 thousand azalea bloom across the garden, measuring 75,000 square meters. During the period of azalea festival, many shops selling souvenir goods, foods and plants will open along the 200 meter-long street leading you to the temple.
