Hizen vidro is a traditional hand-made glassware which is recognized as an Intangible Cultural Property of Saga. Succeeding the traditional techniques from the late Edo Period, SOEJIMA GLASS started making glassware in 1903 in Saga and has been in the business for over 100 years now. The company produces highly unique glassware with the techniques that can only be seen in Hizen Vidro.
Our product lineup includes retro glass containers for hot sake (Kanpin) made with two glass rods, simple yet exquisite cups and various other fashionable and elegant pieces of glassware.
