The full-size monument of 25 great figures related to Saga, who actively participated in various fields around the end of Edo period and Meiji Restoration were set up at 9 places on the central street of Saga City according to the "Hizen Saga Bakumatsu-Meiji Restoration Expo" which is held all around the prefecture from March 17, 2018 to January 14, 2019.

Suggested Naomasa, the domain lord about the necessity of vaccination for preventing smallpox whose fatality rate was high, and made efforts towards its expansion.
-Sagara Chian (1836-1906) *The figure sitting on the right
Introduced German medicine to Japan. Laid the foundation of modern medicine system which is carried through to present day.
