Shoukouji Temple is located near Taku Seibyo (Confucian temple) and dedicated to a syncretic form of religions between Buddhism and Shinto. Here you can see Oga lotus and Maihiren lotus. Oga lotus is especially divinely beautiful when seen in the refreshing morning sunlight.

Access	- 10 Minutes by Taxi from Taku Station of JR Karatsu Line - 15 Minute Drive from Taku IC of Nagasaki Expressway - Walk 3 minutes from Taku Station of JR Karatsu Line to Taku Bus Terminal. Take a Showa Bus bound for “Takeo” from the terminal and get off at “Hontaku” stop. Or, take a Fureai Bus and get off at “Taku Seibyo” stop and walk for about 2 minutes.
