There are 20 Hot Spring spots in Saga.

This is the only hotel by the Kawakami Gorges blessed with abundant water and greenery. The spacious bathtub, bedrock bath and the meals cooked with locally-produced ingredients such as organic vegetables are popular.

Hotel Ryutouen

Located at the Kumanokawa Hot Springs, hot spring area that is the nearest to downtown Saga. Since the temperature of the natural radium hot spring water is not so high, guests can take a long bath and get themselves warm from the core. The tofu dishes, for which your body will thank you, are much recommended.

Yumechidori

Furuyu Hot Springs are located at the foot of Mt. Sefuri surrounded by the greenery of the mountain village with the mountain streams, seasonal wild grasses and sounds of wild birds chirping. This hot spring town offers 15 types of different hot springs and you can hop from one hot spring to another to enjoy a variety of hot spring quality and relax yourself away from the bustle of everyday life.

Ryokan Yamatoya

This inn has separate guest cottages with private open-air bath. Enjoy the warm bath while looking at the seasonal scenery of the mountains in the background and listening to the murmur of the Kase River.

Yama-Akari

The rare, natural sand bath with hot spring water bubbling at your feet is very popular among our customers. The ingredients we use in our meals are carefully selected, and they are arranged on the plates in a new-traditional-Japanese-style. Enjoy an exclusive experience overlooking the Japanese Garden light up at night.

Kakureisen

The inn rests on top of a low-lying mountain where guests can overlook the Furuyu hot spring town.
There are guest rooms separated from the main building with private open-air baths.

Ryokan Suginoya

This is one of the most long-established Japanese-inn in the Furuyu Onsen area. The purity of the 100% alkali hot spring water that flows straight from the source is high and the warm water can be satisfying. The meticulous attention is paid not only to the ingredients, but also to the choice and temperature and dishware used for the kaiseki style meals.

The only one 'Minshuku' guest house in Furuyu Onsen Area. We serve mainly seafood.

Minshuku Guest House Yukiya

Tsukasa Ryokan

Ogi is known as a little Kyoto in Kyusu and this is the only hot spring inn in the City.
Here you can enjoy the scenic view of each season;cherry blossoms in spring, dragonflies in summer and colored leaves in autumn.
Also, carp sashimi, the specialy cuisine of Ogi, is excellent.

Kaisenkaku

An old ryokan with onsen that has been flowing since 1688. The purity of this 100% natural alkaline hot spring is very high, so you can fully enjoy the quality of the warm hot spring.
The meticulous attention is paid not only to the ingredients, but also to the choice of temperature and dishware used for the traditional Japanese course meal.

Ryokan Tokyo-ya

Resort hotel with all the blessings of Taku.
The hot spring is natural Radium hot spring which gushes out directly from the skirts of the beautiful Tenzan mountain. Open-air Bath, Bubbles Hot Spring, Sauna, etc. are available. During summer only, the pool can also be used.

Tenzan Taku Hot Spring　TAQUA

Nestled in the nature, Yamabiko No Yu features 6 family private baths including an outdoor bath with a great open feel, a spacious bath and a barrier-free bath. Relax your body and soul in the peaceful scenery and soft hot spring water of Mitsuse and enjoy some healing time.

Yamabiko No Yu

Kumanokawa Onsen is radium hot spring (radioactive hot spring) containing radon. Getting exposed to a small amount of radiation is said to stimulate the body cells and improve immunity and blood circulation, which is effective for gout, diabetes, atopic dermatitis and other diseases.

Chidori No Yu

Furuyu area features a good atmosphere of a rustic hot spring town and relaxing nature. It has attracted not only people visiting here to cure themselves in hot springs but also many artists such as Aoki Shigeru and Saito Mokichi. Mokichi is especially known to have created 38 poem when he stayed here for 3 weeks in 1920. His well known poem is inscribed in the monument found in the garden of the inn, Kakureisen. The hot spring water here has a little sticky texture and is transparent, scent-less and taste-less. The temperature is from about 34.5 up to 43.6 degrees Celsius and the quality is mildly alkaline. It is especially popular for the alleviating effect for arthritis.

Furuyu Hot Springs

Kumanokawa Hot Spring on Fuji-cho Saga City is a small Hot-spring village located beside Kase river short distance downstream from Furuyu Hot spring. It is told that the hot spring was found by monk Ku-kai when we has traveling around the country and saw a water bird taking a bath here on 821. The water contains sodium carbonate, magnesium, emanation and others and categorized to simple thermal, radioactive spring. Especially, the content of radon is one of the highest in Kyushu. It is said that this is effective on rheumatism, gout and detoxification. If you drink it, it is said that it's effective on diabetes. The temperature of the water is from 24.5 to 38.7 degrees. It's tepid and you can take the bath for a long time. The texture of water is amazing and it might make your skin smooth.

Kumanokawa Hot Springs

The hot springs of Kumanokawa Area contain a larger amount of radon than many other hot springs in Japan and many people have favored it for the medical effects. The hot spring of Toshoka provides 500 litters of natural spring water per minute, which makes it a hot spring with Kyushu’s largest amount of discharged spring water. Such an abundance of natural spring water makes it possible for you to have some luxurious bathing time which you cannot enjoy elsewhere.

Toshoka

Enjoy the wide open-air bath overlooking the Saga Plain. A private chartered bath with good view and stone sauna are also available. In addition, there is a restaurant where you can enjoy dishes made with local ingredients as well as a shop where you can purchase special souvenirs, from fresh vegetables to arts and crafts. Sazanka No Yu

The glamping accommodation where there are cute and retro tent rooms inspired by European country-side camping, nestled in the calm nature of Mitsuse. You can enjoy BBQ and breakfast with plenty of local ingredients from Mitsuse and Saga and outdoor activities such as a campfire using local firewood. In addition, you can enjoy Mistuse Onsen Yamabiko-no-Yu all day. The private bath is available, so anyone can enjoy it.
